This is my sister.

I wish she was here, but she’s not. In 1985 she committed suicide and nearly destroyed my entire family.

She was wrong, and I’ve always known that in those very last seconds of her life, she knew that too. I also know that she’s never been far away, just unreachable – and it must be as hard for her as it is for me.

Cookie’s page , created in 1997, twelve years after her suicide, was my first attempt at web design. It is the only page on my site that has remained completely untouched.
